Here’s the deal, Life church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Life church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

We are a community of Jesus followers who desire to bring Life, Joy, and Beauty to our community and to one another.

Where We're Headed

What’s the bottom line? More than ever, Life church is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.

Vision

We envision a church that is a catalyst in reshaping our city, country and world: through four hundred multiethnic families knitted together in the love and co-participation with Jesus, rooted in the Word of God, equipping families to be disciples of Jesus, releasing forty missionary units to the world, and forty church planters to the forgotten rural counties of America.

Our Values

Worship Is our Lifestyle – Worship Worship is our outward and inward expression and response to the Glory of God shown through all that we do. We will worship God with all that it means to be human, sexuality, finances, work and play, relationships, our engagement with the world. (1 Peter 2:5, Romans 12:1, Heb 13:15)

Joyful-Beautiful Relationships – Connect We value time together as we gather regularly to build unity and genuine love for one another both inside and outside the of sanctuary. We value relationships in our community as an opportunity to share the life of Jesus in love and compassion. (1 Cor 12-13)

Teaching, Loving, and expressing the Will of God. – Grow. We value discipleship, reaching everyone within our church body in a way that inspires and encourages continual growth in our faith and faithfulness to Jesus, living lives that are holy and pleasing to God. (2 Tim 3:16)

Where the Spirit of The Lord Is There Is Freedom to Serve – Serve We consciously step back and allow the Holy Spirit to move as He desires. We value our freedom to worship, praise, sing, dance, and receive the Word of God just as we are. We value the leading of the Spirit as He sends us to serve the hurting and broken. (Luke 4:18)

We Go Beyond the Four Walls – Go We value a bold witness in our words and deeds as we proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to everyone, everywhere we go. Jesus called His people to go and therefore we are committed to go into the neighborhoods, communities, and world with the teachings of Jesus. (Matt 28:18-20)

Community Service

We believe God has called us as His Church to bring Life, Joy, and Beauty to our community. We take this call very seriously as we strive to change our community into the Kingdom of God. A few ways Life Church seeks to engage the community of Osage is through our annual Mitchel County Free Thanksgiving Meal. Each year we feed over 500 people a free Thanksgiving meal. By partnering with local businesses and volunteers from Life church as well as many community members, we have been sharing the love of Christ for over 6 years. Along with the Thanksgiving meal, we hand out food to the needy, take free water to our community on the 4th of July during the city parade, sing carols in the nursing homes, and are currently working to provide food, clothes, and other needs through creating free cupboards in the local schools full of daily needs.

We are always looking for new ways to serve our community. In the future look for us to hold a city wide egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter. If you have an idea to serve our community as Jesus, we would love to partner with you.

We Are A Family

Our mission statement reads, “We desire to bring Life, Joy, and Beauty to our community, the world, and one another.” God has provided the means of Life, Joy, and Beauty through the FAMILY. From the eternal Trinitarian community of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, to the original family of Adam and Eve, to the covenant family of Israel, and finally expressed in the Family of God known as the body of Christ or the Church of Jesus 1 Cor 12:14.
As the body of Christ we are called to love one another as brothers and sisters Heb 13:1-3 and to expand the family to those who are currently outside the family covenant in Jesus Matt 28:18-20. With this in mind, we believe in spending time together and building family bonds with one another. One way we accomplish this is through creating gatherings and outings outside of the Sunday worship gathering. A few examples are, monthly breakfast for our men, women’s monthly coffee, both of these offer a wonderful time to catch up, invite friends, and to encourage one another. Thought the year we also offer a summer Sunday picnic where we as a church gather at a local campground for baptisms, worship, and lots of fun. Look out for the Fall Festival and our Winter family outing, as well as our summer Table Talk. Over all we offer times of family gathering through out the year.
